Abdullah ibn Amr narrated that the Messenger of Allah said:
“The Hafiz-e-Quran (a person who has memorized Quran) will be said on the day of Judgment: Recite and rise in status, recite as you used to recite in the world, for your status will be at the last verse that you recite.”(Jami at-tirmidhi-2914)
According to the Quran:
وَلَقَدْيَسَّرْنَاالْقُرْآنَلِلذِّكْرِفَهَلْمِنْمُدَّكِرٍ
And we have certainly made the Qur’an easy for remembrance,
so is there any who will remember? (54:17)
